3. What are the topics covered in a Certificate III Individual Support Program for Disability?

Covering a broad spectrum of topics, the Disability Individual Support course program focuses on a complete end-to-end support and care for people with temporary and permanent illnesses.

  • Students can opt for working as an Assistant Nurse, Home Care Assistant or Personal Care Worker for the disabled.

Prerequisites for a Certificate III in Individual Support for Disability

These are the Eligibility factors for a Certificate III in Individual Support:

  • Excellent communication skills with English as the primary language and have an IELTS score of 5.5 or pass an English Exam conducted by the institution(only for International students).
  • Minimum of 16 years for Australian Students and 20 years for International Students with a minimum of 10-year schooling.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of internet searching.
  • Currently have a National Police Clearance or apply for one to get a career in Disability Care.

6. Course duration and study mode

The course duration for an Individual Support Certification in disability is 6 Months and it comprises both on-campus and online study modes for both Domestic Australian and Other International Students.

Application form for applying this course is available online throughout the year except in December. Your application must be at least 30 days prior to the date of course commencement.
